This is a large hand painted Mexican Nicho dedicated to the icon artist Frida Kahlo. This nicho was made by artisans in San Miguel de Allende Mexico. The nicho is made from painted treated tin and glass with marble details. A beautiful image of Frida is collaged onto a floral background with a small ceramic dia de los muertos figurine. The message above reads "genio y figura hasta la sepultura". Generally translating to a genius figure until the grave.
